    Because the whole thing is a mess. Because it's lost any resemblance of originality or plotline. Because we've seen it all before. Because pretty much every sequel since T2 with the exception of Salvation was truly awful. Because there's nothing left to tell. And because the scenes in that trailer are probably the best bits and they aint all that.

    And you will ask, will you still go and see it. And I will say yeh probably, but that isn't enough of a reason to make it.

    Look doll this is a whole different animal. It's directed by Tim Miller and written by James Cameron and set up as a direct sequel to Terminator 2. The last three films mean **** all. Different time lines and such like.

    Imo the trailer shows a lot of promise. I shall not poo poo it until I see it. To do so would be rather silly. Doncha think?

    I hate to break this to you hun but every movie has been a direct sequel to the previous right up to T2. Cameron's input in the story, not screenplay, provides some positive but the trailer screams same old same old. Sorry.

    But hey that's just my opinion looking at the franchise as a whole and that trailer. Perhaps if I looked at it through my 1980's romantic goggle of optimism I'd convince myself. But that would be just as silly.

    It is old and obsolete.

    Should be terminated.
