England did a Spurs. They had a bye to the final and still went out in the semis.

    Possibly.

In all seriousness though i am more than happy for a half fit kane to start.

If hed been playing consistently sure but he will be blowing hard and poch will keep him on for the 90.

The thing is there’s been a three week break and minus the Ajax second half, our form in the final bunch of games without Kane was abysmal. We sorely missed him. If he’s as fit as can be for the final, he has to start, it makes zero sense to bench him if he’s able to play 90-120 minutes.

I think you will be best hitting pool on the break.

If you have kane there im putting my money on vvd besting him. Unless hes smart about it and goes onto matips side but even then im not so sure.

Pool are too strong to allow them to attack. They punish teams when on the front foot. I’d rather see us try to dominate the possession and get forward as much as possible. That leaves ourselves open for the counter but I don’t fancy our defence on current form to be able to soak up the pressure and then counter them, so I’d rather just take the game too them.

I tell you what doesn't make sense to me

Picking a player who has been out injured for about 3 months just because it's Harry Kane.

Picking a player to start after a long lay off who is traditionally very slow after an injury comeback.

Since the quarters we haven't had HK...maybe I've just got a bit of faith in a few of the others, they've earned it.

If anything it will add some real strength off the bench...that's not a bad situation to find ourselves in considering we have a bang average bench in all reality.

I don't really care if I'm right or wrong at the end of FT...I just want to win and all our players have earned their corn in this tournament apart from Trippier who's utter dog ****

I don't agree with hitting them on the break. I don't think in a neautral venue we are going to set up like Brighton.

We’ve had a three week layoff. There’s no form or settled side he’s coming into like before. Without him we managed just three goals in our final five league games and we lost third spot because of it.

Lucas and Son couldn’t replicate their CL heroics in the league in those final run of games.

Kane still scored more goals in Europe and the Prem than Son or Lucas.

But yeah, we should definitely keep him on the bench if he’s fit to start.

You know you can take people off the bench if required?

You know that Kane is our best striker and arguably best player?

I remember when Conte rested Hazard/Costa in the first half of the semi of the FA Cup against us. Their 2 best attackers....we thought we had got lucky..they came on in the 2nd half and fukd us over. If you're good you're good enough to come off the bench too.

This is not personal ...if Kane starts and scores then good...I want us to win.

Start Kane just in case you get a penalty.

Alli would need to be in full form though.

Those Euro refs don't seem to be as hot on diving. Alli could have a field day.

Semi final of an FA Cup and a Champions League final is a different kettle of fish though mate. Poch also ****ed us that game by playing Son at LWB who conceded a penalty. We also benched our best RB that game too, albeit Trippier did start every FA Cup game in the run up so kept his place.

For me, if Kane is cleared fit to play 90 minutes (or 120 if need be), he should absolutely start. We’re a weaker side without him. If he’s not fit enough for a full game, absolutely start him on the bench but the signs are he’s ready to start.

He's had 3 weeks working with Tom Daley to perfect the tuck, pike, twist and reverse.

VAR will only be used to award scores up to 6.0. I'm expecting a clean sweep.
