Unfortunately the U.K. is not ready for co-operative politics and government and will continue along the path of confrontation and division

From the great white hope of the FBPE mob to someone having to perform mental gymnastics in a desperate attempt to deny her political career is face-down in a ditch in the space of six months

I guess Chuka's Chickens managed to change something after all...

The parties with a stated remain policy (Lib Dems and Greens) polled more votes than the Brexit Party.
We can't assume whether Labour or Tory voters are remain or leave.
So what is this clear message Farage thinks we can't ignore?

Those are votes for a no deal brexit. The 9% Tory vote is a mix of Remainers and Dealers. The Labour vote is a mix of everything.

There seems to be a lot of conflation around Thursday’s election.

It wasn’t a referendum. It was a straightforward vote for who you want to represent you in the EU Parliament. So all this collating of vote percentages by perceived leave/remain parties is irrelevant.

The fact is, the Brexit Party achieved the largest individual vote share, won in 90% of council areas, and there’ll have more MEPs in Brussels than any other party and most combined.

That’s the EU voting system under which we all went to ballot box. All this other stuff is just bollocks.

I wonder how many of the voters for the Brexit Party thought about being represented in the European Parliament as opposed to just expressing their wish to leave the EU asap?

I simply refuse to accept that Man City won the league. If you add up the rest of the top four combined, they won by a country mile!

You're confusing popularity with intelligent decision making.

When you ask a bunch of ill educated, drunk, drug taking loonies what they want, most want free unicorns, more drugs, more drink, an opportunity to vote against foreigners and Brexit.

If the electorate was we asked if they wanted capital punishment reintroduced, the following week Strictly Come Hanging would be Britain's most popular TV programme.

I’d definitely watch that. See a couple nonces and murderers get strung up would be better than Eastenders and all the other **** on TV these days.

It’d also have better endings than Game of Thrones.

It’s this you lost mentality that gets me. It’s what this whole farce has been reduced to.

The rabble rouser, Farage, has told the thick and gullible that they’ve somehow been cheated. This after he sold them Unicorns, which he knew he’d never be asked to deliver himself, and then screamed betrayal when it was discovered ( surprise, surprise! ) that there are no Unicorns.

So now, it’s been reduced to this determination to secure a ‘win’. A win at any cost. No matter the damage to the UK economy, no matter what they’re doing to their kids and grandkids, it’s all about ‘winning’
