If Poch were to go then yeah I'd personally take him. My first choice would be Jardim though, even if he has just taken back over at Monaco.

Honest question. Do you think Poch will go ? He's been making all sorts of noises about the club needing to match his ambition over the last year or so, which seem to be getting more frequent recently. The comments about 'closing the 5 year chapter' were the most stark yet. I get the argument that he's trying to force Levy's hand, but Levy isn't somebody who tends to do that. He sees himself as being at least if not more important at Spurs than Pochettino.

    Honestly, nope.

I think the closing the chapter remarks are about putting an end to his first five years. The five year plan was to make Spurs competitive and get us into the CL. He’s done that, in four of his five seasons we’ve finished top four. With the stadium now here, it’s time to start the next chapter. We need to start acting like a big club, not constantly thinking we’re punching above our weight. We fully belong in this “top six” bracket now and I think it’s time the club really does try to make a push for that title instead of thinking top four is all we can achieve. It’s gonna be a weird yet massive summer for us. Even though we’re likely set to lose Toby and Eriksen, there’s still a large amount of optimism that we’ll do good business to hopefully try taking us on to that “next level”.

  5. This isn't the response that Pixie wants to hear, DH.

Any suggestion that Poch will remain at Spurs scares him ****less, since it raises the ogre of our wager.

Pix has turned his caravan into a shrine for every known deity, to whom he prays constantly.

Think Pool would murder you down the flanks if you do that.

They’ll do so regardless. It’s about whether we can cause them enough problems, with Kane on the pitch, that’s a definite problem for them.

I think you'd pose more of a problem with Son and Moura up front with a more solid MF. Pool will just cut you to ribbons if you leave too much space for them.

Kane can annihilate any defence on the planet when he’s on it. Having him as the centre point flanked by Lucas and Son will give Pool something to think about. If we play with the game plan of trying to stop Pool we’ll lose. Too many have tried that and failed this season. We’re better off focusing on where we’re strong and hoping that on the night, our strengths out-do Pool’s.

My concern is that he may be fit, but he’s not match fit for sure. The bench for me and bring him on with 30 mins to go.

I think Poch has got reasonable grounds to leave him on the bench for that reason.
