But we have the fanatics now claiming that anything other than No Deal (something that was never discussed in the campaign) would be 'BRINO' and a betrayal. If we were leaving with a Norway deal, I wouldn't be saying that a further vote was justified. Leaving without a deal is a different matter.
No, because I voted to leave both the customs union and single market. How about answering my question?
The two biggest c*nts from the Pre-May era making a comeback? God help us all, tells you how low our politics is on statesmanship... https://www.express.co.uk/news/poli...politics-George-Osborne-leave-EU-conservative
But Corbyn's Brexit would still be Brexit, and would honour the referendum result. Remember the question was very simple, wasn't it? No I wouldn't have called for another referendum if Remain had won. Nor would I if any 'soft' Brexit were being implemented - something that would fairly represent 52:48 outcome. No Deal is a different matter entirely.
I don't agree that staying in the CU and SM is brexit. I don't believe many leave voters voted to stay in either or both.
The one good thing to come out of this is that we now have a nation of super intelligent mind readers......’cos it seems every **** seems to know what the other **** is thinking or what they did or did not believe.
The low turn out extended to many more places than Sunderland, and, as I'm sure you know, the proposed job losses at Nissan are diesel, not Brexit related.
How dare you let truth and logic get in the way of a pro-remain soundbite, you racist nazi Europhobe.
The first MEP in Ireland just elected, Mairead McGuinness elected with 135K votes in Midlands North-West constituency. Also in the same constituency the Independent Luke Ming Flanagan (QPR supporter) is in second place on 85K votes so he looks like he will retain his seat.
Col, I agree with you about most footballing matters but am diametrically opposed to your views on Brexit. However, I'm also concerned about the impact on the nation of undoing the referendum. Given the mess we are in, I'm inclined to agree that we should now get on and get out and deal with the consequences, good or bad. There are multiple rifts in our society and it's time to start repair and restoration rather than sow more discord. If the price of that is for remainers to suck it up, so be it. Perhaps the boot all be on the other foot in 10/ 15 / 20 yrs when there's another vote to join the EU or whatever that has evolved to!
Agree entirely but the problem is the Remainers, many whom consider themselves intellectually superior, won't let it go and will cling to any smidgeon of evidence, real or imagined, to perpetuate their disbelief that they lost the vote. The fact that 400 politicians who were elected on a mandate to deliver Brexit are among that so called 'elite' is why we are where we are. They are the problem and yesterday's result has done nothing to change that...
It’s actually quite sickening how many people are applauding the success of the Lib Dem’s in this Euro Election......seems easily forgotten that is wasn’t that long ago that they were in bed with the Tories and supported austerity
Thing is there are about 57 different f***** varieties of Leave and of course Brexiteers can't agree which one they want, or find one that doesn't cause all kind of problems, which even other Leavers recognise. Remain means what it says. Leave immediately asks the simple question how, and no good answer can be found.
