I have to agree with that so many people are obsessed by fancy attacking football, and the 'Arsenal' way it really does do my head in..... a 1-0 win is as good as any other win come the end of the season no matter how you get it.
I like how everyone of their players performed better than our counterparts (bar one of their strikers) yet they still managed to lose...
Good to see yet another valuable contribution to the forum. You are getting very boring now Percy, I used to defend your posts but you clearly haven't moved on. Grow up.
But these posts about me, rather than football, are so valuable to the forum? I guess I'll have to live without you defending my posts. It could be difficult, but I'm willing to give it a go. I'm not sure I can though, because before I used to think "I might get some stick, but at least my buddy Horsham_Tiger will defend me" but now what am I gonna do? What do you want from me? To change my opinion after one game? I'd love to, but that'd be "knee jerk and stupid". Feel free to block me and shut the **** up if you don't like what I'm saying though.
I agree that the 'Arsenal way' is over-hyped at times but what that report is froegtting is that we do that most home games, pretty football, no end product. So to suggest we're an ugly sort of side who just force results is bizarre. Also, Darren Ferguson's interview was weird. He said at worst it should have been 0-0. Why Darren? Should our goal have been chalked off just because? Was it unfair or unlucky in any way? Or was it just a case of us having better strikers than you?
