I already knew the answer, but I thought it best to point out the clearly contradictory nature of your post.

I don't give a crap what the protest was about.
Using the anniversary of a terrorist attack to attempt to gain coverage for their political ideals is in extremely poor taste, at best.

What does the Green Party's policies have to do with a faith based legal system?
If you're trying to point out that they're entitled to their opinion, then I think that you'll find I've already agreed with that.

I've never met Anjem Choudary and it appears that you haven't, either.
He's made his opinions perfectly clear on a number of issues though and I think he's a ****ing fruitcake, frankly.

I don't know how he earns a living, but I understand that he's on benefits, as he was taken up on it on Newsnight and decided to dodge the question.
Having a quick look around on Google, it appears that he claims around £25k in benefits and doesn't work, despite being a trained solicitor and not claiming any sort of disability that would prevent him from working.
Sounds like the sort of person that you were complaining about earlier in the thread, doesn't it?

tbh i think we expect too much from govt and govt systems/institutions

I have a disabled lad who requires treatment regularly in hospital. me or the mrs accompany him and do most of the stuff during his stay, bathing, changing, feeding, calming etc. In fact he has 3 days treatment but we bring him home at night due to no beds and tbh makes it easier on us imo

I see other kids left there and parents come to visit for an hour and then leave. Then complain that the kid wasnt changed as soon as he/she wet the nappy etc
to me the NHS isnt a baby sitting service or the like, its free so its enough they provide medecine and thje care they do. anything further shouldnt be their problem

similar with schools/benefits etc imo anyway

tbh i thought it was quite clear but ok <ok>

I dont know, if it was to cmmemorate the death of those killed in iraq/afghanistan i think fair do's. if you disagree <ok>

just pointing out wanting something doesnt mean shnizzle
if they are entitled to an opinion, that includes when they choose to express it. media should ignore

£25k on benefits but 'chooses' not to work? either you dont understand the benefits system or its the benefits system that is 'broken'

The fact is you dont even know if anjem was at the demo, from the pictures i have seen he doesnt appear to be. could be wrong
and not only have I met and spoken to anjem, I have met and spoken to at least 2 of the guys in some of the pictures. They work is my understanding
and i specifically asked about 'dodging' the benefits issue, his response to me was 'it wasnt relevant' to why he was on newsnight
and he used to (not sure if he still does) teach at the Islamic School of Shariah
I found him to be a really pleasant bloke in all honesty.

not sure who/what you refer to in your last sentence

By choosing that date to hold the protest and doing it outside of the US embassy, Muslims Against Crusades merely damaged the public image of Islam.
Burning an image of the American flag during the minute's silence is just tasteless and objectionable.
The meaning behind the protest would've been utterly lost on most people, regardless of what message they were trying to get across.

I agree that they're entitled to their opinion and that the media should ignore them.
They can choose to express it at any time, but then they can't complain about others having a poor opinion of them or negative press, if they choose stupid moments to do so.

I've already suggested that the benefits system is broken on this article, but I didn't say that he chooses not to work, merely that it appears that he doesn't work.
You're misquoting me again.

Clearly seen early on in the clip, specifically at .10, for example.

If he worked, then it's unlikely that he'd receive such a large amount in benefits.
Ironically, the first link that I was brought to when Googling the London School of Sharia was one about a Muslim preacher teaching people how to swindle benefits! <laugh>
Perhaps that's what Mr Choudary teaches nowdays?

People give delightful accounts of a lot of people that have very dark characters.
I'm sure that you can think of a few historical figures that match that description.

I was referring to the apparently workshy Mr Choudary.
He must be one of those lazy Englishmen that you referred to earlier.

Yes i know, but he changed it from British to English when he decided they had a lesser work ethic.
