Huddersfield were the team who won the league 3 times in a row, then the FA Cup. In 4 years what Leeds have achieved in 100. I wasn’t on about Leeds winning them in 4 years. Huddersfield were formed in 1908, so it took them 16years to win as many titles and FA Cups as Leeds have in 100. If there had been League Cups and European competitions then they would have been winning them as well.
Leeds got crowds of less than 10,000 not that long ago. Maybe you hadn’t adopted them then. Was having a pint the other week with someone was in 2 of them.
Take it you failed maths, we won our cups in our first 73 years. But since we've had 4 leagues and 92 clubs, what have you won grandad.
Some stupid F L Trophy game or something, not in the league they didn't. Huddersfield on the other hand have in the league
So when there was only a few teams huddersfield did well, once a few teams started, Huddersfield have won nothing
Have a look at the attendance for the Shrewsbury game. In the league. I know more about Leeds than you do. You probably hadn’t decided to adopt them then. http://www.wafll.com/leeds-statistics/leeds-1982-83.html
Only you said recently, have you been in a coma for 35 years it's 2019 Was still double Huddersfield’s lowest crowd same season in your best ever home season
When Huddersfield won their titles there were 22 teams in the top flight, 2 more than nowadays, and 88 teams in the league. Don’t know much about football history, do you? Even though Leeds glory days are history.
What's that smell.? That's it bullshit, only 2 proper leagues, others were just regional north/south leagues. Don't know anything do you you're just making it up.
That is recently. Two thirds of Leeds League wins and their FA Cup win were way before then. Are they ancient history then and not to be mentioned? You said Leeds had never had less than 10,000 for a league match I said they had. So who was right and who was wrong? A Leeds fan I worked with said they hadn’t. I bet him 10 for every game I could find. Cost him£30. Best thing was it was I got the figures from an LUFC fan site which really rubbed it in. The site got taken down not long after for copyright reasons.
You really are a bit dense, aren't you? It was the same clubs as now. The reason for the division 3 being north and south was travel wasn’t as easy in those days. I know more than you do. And more about Leeds United.
Yes. Though they had to come down to achieve parity with Leeds. Not that I am bothered as I don’t support them.
