Suggestions now coming out of France that the Greens have done well, and Le Pen is going to be very disappointed with nothing like a 10% lead.

 

She is working to change the EU. from within, just as many other parties and blocks are trying to do - including the Greens. I do not think that anybody will relish working and making plans with the Brexit Party if they are not destined to be there for that long.

 

Turnout in Engelskirchen was 64.4%. The Green vote in the town where I live was 22.39% and in the electoral ward where I live it was 26.92%

 

Has the Macron boy lost?

 

The polls haven't closed yet.

 

Current projections across the whole EU show that there will be a net loss of 10 seats fro right wing eurosceptics.

The exit polls shows the Macron boy has failed to end the domination of the far right in France. The victorious Le Pen has called on Macron to resign. This is a slippery slope to obscurity for the lad.

You might be needing to ask the EU for a re-run after Macron's defeat, they might be sympathetic as they are well versed in re-runs if the first result is not to their liking. Alternatively you can contact Gina Miller to see what she can do?

 

The count has started, and the projections suggest that Le Pen will lead by 0.5% - 2.5%. When asked why the FN had fallen, there was no answer. Not quite the 10% lead that Le Pen forecast during the week.

 

Exceptionally good results for the Greens in the cities of NRW:
Dortmund 24.91% (1st place)
Bochum 24.36%
Düsseldorf 29.25% (1st place)
Cologne 34.13% (1st place)
Münster 36.62% (1st place)
Essen 22.75%

Denmark sees the right wing party there lose their only seat.
Portugal wins a seat for the greens. Totally unexpected.
Finland Greens could be the second party.
Greece far right less than 5% of votes.

Everywhere you look the right wing parties are not doing as well as expected. Maybe SH will have to reconsider his comments that the EU was about to be taken over.

 

I seem to remember he predicted 200 seats for far right parties

 

Further statistics from Germany:
Green vote in Hamburg 30% (1st place), Frankfurt 30.4% (1st place), Berlin 26.5% (only half counted as yet), Munich 31.5% (1st place).
