Sums up exactly why I will feel more euphoric about a takeover than about winning tomorrow. We could accept selling Aribo, but giving him away because of the owner's crass stupidity is unbelievable.
Remember what I told you all a while back on another thread. You have to win tomorrow. I wish you the very best of luck in it and will be watching the scoreline even if not the match itself.
It's going to be a great day out at Wembley. Relax everyone and enjoy the atmosphere. Don't stress, just let the day play out and go with the flow. These things come along only once in a generation, so don't get all tensed up, have a good time!
I won’t enjoy today if we don’t win. It’s all about the result. The consequences today are huge. This club belongs in the Championship. Promotion today and a new owner this summer and it could be the start of a great new chapter in our history. A lot of the plastics will be there today for the day out - and good luck to them. But every member on this site understands what happens from next week if we don’t beat the Mackems. #JustWin
To win Bielik needs to dominate the midfield, when he ticks we look a different side . He was poor Friday
1) We lose Bow & Gallen... with luck we retain Steve Avory, Johnnie Jackson & Jason Euell 2) We lose 14 members of the current first team squad 3) The playing budget is cut further 4) More of the Valley is closed 5) Ave. Crowds reduce to @5,000 (in real terms) 7,000 to 8,000 declared 6) Der Turkey is here for another season 7) The asking price for the Club increases to £70m to cover additional loans
Just had a good chat with a couple of Sunderland fans on the train. They are very worried about Lyle Taylor. They said McGeady is not fit enough to play 90 mins. They were both pessimistic about the Mackems chances today. Lots of Charlton fans in London already.
Picking up the coach at 11.25. I don't feel very confident about today. But that is usually a good sign. Losing is not an option. Charlton's future hangs on this game.
