Just in from a Battle of the Bands competition - quite a high level of performance and Jnrs band won! Onto the final, where winner gets to play at Party at the Palace festival in Linlithgow, with the likes of The Charlatans, Deacon Blue and Midge Ure.... ****in well chuffed!!! Will post some video later.....

Thought this was a new Cranberries song when I first heard it..... Turns out it's a protest song referencing Grenfell...... "The Others was written after the Grenfell Tower fire in London. At this time Aoife was working for a gardening company that served clients in this area, some of whom were influential politicians. The juxtaposition between the safe homes of these politicians and the burning towerblock streets away were startling and upsetting. Living in safety should not be a luxury."
