Good way to tell Ehab the day you were born so he can check you on the members list and find out if you called him a **** or not
Liked the B side of St George and the Dragonet, Little Blue Riding Hood. You need to be of a certain age to get them properly. Same with this, my favourite Freeburg number. You have to be old enough to remember Johnnie Ray to really appreciate it. The “dramatic” bit in the middle is hilarious. [/QUOTE] I liked his Heartbreak Hotel parody. Still quote from it today.
Disappointed to just miss TIger Feet for my birthday, but very happy to be born before Gary Glitters number one a bit later the same year
Looking through my Top UK 50 there are three different versions of “Sunny” in the chart. “Cher (No 43), Bobby Herb (22) & Georgie Fame (14). Were there not enough songs to go around in the olden day’s or were these versions just warm ups until Boney M turned up in the 70s?
It is one of the most covered songs of all time. Question at a pub quiz I was at once, what is the connection between the songs Sunny and Abraham, Martin and John? Only a couple of us got it.
