She’s incompetent, that’s for sure. And she hardly covered herself in glory at the HO. She was made PM as a compromise choice. The ERG and their cronies figured she’d be easy to manipulate and they were right.

As her successor will discover, however, Unicorns don’t exist and therefore cannot be delivered.

You do her too much credit in suggesting she's easily manipulated.
I have personal experience of the depth of this witch's treacherous nature and - trust me - she is the manipulator. Trouble for her was that her stupidity and greed controlled her and she effectively self-imolated.
Bottom line, she's no loss on any level and she can now focus on spending all the millions that her husband raked in over the last few years as the UK economy sank.....

I’ll take your word for that. But I’m convinced she’s weak. Moggy and co pulled her strings and she jumped.

One thing a lot of pundits are trying to avoid saying is what she began with her Hostile Environment legislation as Home Secretary directly lead to not just the EU Referendum but the rise of the far-right

They were always there. The referendum result has, in their eyes, made it acceptable for them to crawl out from under their rocks and be upfront about their bigotry.

The Hostile Environment pre-empted the EU Referendum by four years

There’s no doubt that it worsened markedly after the referendum. Race hate crime soared.

During my life I have met 10 MPs, Conservative and Labour. I would say that nine of them were genuinely trying to do good. Only one was in it for gain. That included two quite right wing Conservatives who are anathema to me politically but who really believed whst they stood for

How drunk were they? I have only met two MP's (One was George Galloway) and I think you only start getting the truth out of them when they've had a few. I've also met an ex Labour leader of Brighton Council who after a few drinks started telling me about his trip to Russia and how nice the Russians were providing him with free booze and prostitutes.

A bit like Hillsborough. The government and the FA put fans in cages begging for an accident to happen, with warning signs during the previous season during our semi final, but the only person convicted so far has been a police officer. I does take a rocket scientist to observe how quickly the cages were removed from our football grounds straight after the tragic accident. Yes H&S on the day could have done things differently, but that may not have changed things. No cages would have certainly changed things.

I've only met Julian Brazier (oops sorry Sir Julian Brazier) who was the incumbent MP for Canterbury for donkeys years. Our brief meeting was only because the toe rag decided to show up to the march I was on to save the local hospital, in what was quite obviously a disingenuous and cynical attempt to come across as one of the people who gave a **** and not one of the perpetrators of our failing health service. Scumbag.

It was great to see him lose his seat to Rosie Duffield only a few weeks later. Anything to wipe that smug look off his face.

The former Labour leader has changed his Twitter handle to Chaos with Ed Miliband.

That tweet really hasn't aged well, has it?

Boris Johnson's already offering cabinet posts even though he's not even made the two-man shortlist to be next Tory leader, according to Rory Stewart - who not only rejected the offer of Foreign Secretary, but also rejected any post in a Johnson-led government

Of course this has led to the usual harrumphing about how Stewart should shut up and know his place, led by the ever-gobby Julia Halfwit-Brewer attempting to gaslight the public (as usual...) by stating that the Tory election manifesto stated "no deal is better than a bad deal"...even though the Tories' election manifesto clearly read "So now more than ever, Britain needs a strong and stable government to get the best Brexit deal for our country and its people" and you;d have to be a fool or a charlatan to confidently claim otherwise
