Given the unexpectedly large amount of additional income coming into the club and its profitability in the last 3 years, I would hope that we have latitude with the banks to increase our spending on the field. Let's hope so.

As for ENIC, their endgame is unclear. It was always presumed that Joe Lewis would sell when the value hit £1 billion. He hasn't and the prospect of an NFL franchise means that he probably won't. So, what now?

Frankly, I don't know but the first rule of commerce is, unless a business is moving forwards, it will start to go backwards. Now's the time to invest on the pitch and keep the stadium full and sell those white shirts in the US, Far East, etc.

He will sell for the right amount.
The club is for sale. There are about half a dozen PL clubs for sale

It definitely was...and if the NFL franchise is a no go, then it almost certainly still is. Lewis has tried to buy into the NFL for years, without getting a sniff. Now, he's in with a real shot of landing a franchise in London, I'm not so sure he'd sell.

If he can get his snout in that trough, the whole thing becomes massively more valuable. Similarly with stadium sponsorships, additional rugby games, etc. The true value of the stadium is yet to be revealed, so I don't think there's much prospect of it being sold before the NFL situation is worked out.....unless someone makes a daft offer, which would always be accepted.

Saturday 1st June will see 61000 fans in a ground to watch a match on tv.

This is proof of how much money the
    club can make with success.

Success means buying players and paying to keep our current ones.

Players will be bought this summer imho...am nervous as **** about the final but sooooooo optimistic about our immediate future.

Also a "proof of concept" as to whether there is the desire among
supporters to do similar for other big away games (especially for
those who are very close to the WHL parrish) .

There’s virtually no competition there. Bayern, Dortmund, and that’s it...

Ok fair enough, Zidane, Jose and Ancelotti also deserve high praise. Can't think of anyone else that's worth mentioning. Jardim maybe? Ten Haag based on this season? That's about it I reckon.

When he took over dortmund they were the equivalent of you boys. Fallen giants (admittedly won a league in 2001) but they were consistently 7th or around there. He was the one who kick started it off for them.

Obviously Dortmund have built a great team around the manager and have had continued success.

Spurs already had plenty of practice with Citeh since the start of the 2015-16 season.

You didn't win any of the two PL games that mattered to the rest of us
this season (you only had to win one of them - Spurs have showed
you how to do it) .
