I get Son had a great season but selecting him twice in the XI? Now that's some going. But yeah, I'd pretty much go with that: Hugo Tripps, Toby, Jan, Rose (not Son ) Dier, Sissoko Lucas, Eriksen, Alli Son With this side, I'd have Dier dropping into a back three at required times with Eriksen dropping into the midfield. I'd only start Kane if he is absolutely 100% fit, any tiny doubt and he should be on the bench ready to make an impact. We should have a full squad though which is probably the first time this season! Albeit not all will be completely match fit.
Personally I'd much rather kane started instead of coming on later in the game. Handful of a player to deal with for the last 20mins especially if he's fresh.
Damn you UEFA for your oddly-compiled lineups! Seriously, the lineup for the Ajax match actually listed Son after Verts (hence the snafu) and Rose between Alli and Eriksen. What the hell???
Kane should come off the bench and play the Llorente role. As good as Llorente has been and he might get minutes anyway, Kane is more clinical as some juicy chances tend to fall to Llorente. He's also more mobile and that certainly adds to problems facing the oppo defence at a stage where tired legs might start to creep in. Son and Moura to run the legs off their defence first though. I'll be overjoyed if Kane starts, bags a few and makes me eat my skull cap
With a week to go to our biggest ever game, Mauricio Pochettino deals with the issue on his future with our (and his) club... "Today Tottenham, for me, is the best club in the world when you talk about facilities. This training ground, the new stadium that is the best in the world, there's no better club and then it's in London, no better city, you know. It's England, the Premier League - the most tough and exciting league - and I think we need to make that step and of course if we realise that we can continue in this process we can put Tottenham with the best teams in the world. "There's still a lot of work to do, but I'm so motivated to stay in Tottenham and provide Tottenham with what they deserve. It's about now to finish the Champions League and then to talk about how we are going to build the new step. "That's so important and it's between us and, of course, the owner that we need to talk and know his ideas and of course to share and try to design the plan to reach the last step and be in a position that makes us dream and believe that we can be real contenders." Yes, he's been under a lot of pressure recently and has been playing with the hacks....but he is as committed to us as we are to him. We are fortunate to have a manager of his calibre and character. Now let's give him our all, for he's surely done that for us.

Move into new WHL and get CL for the next season : tick. CL final : bonus. THFC 2018 profit of 110m + expected (by me) same at the minimum for this season : summer war chest.
Brilliant news Pochettino is a great manager and a very decent human being. We are very lucky indeed. The great thing is he now carries some clout in the club. He obviously has a good relationship with the chairman and this should push the board into releasing the funds that Pochettino needs to take the squad to the next level. The good news is that the next level is the top.
This does not sound like a manager about to jump ship, more like someone with a clear vision for the future
He also said this, so it would be foolish of the club or anybody else to take him for granted.. He told El Partidazo de COPE (h/t the Mirror's Matt Maltby) "I will not make decisions about my future [until] after the final, it is important to know what the club's future plan is. "If we want to return to the Champions League final next year and fight with Manchester City and Liverpool for the Premier League title, we need reinforcements. The club needs to respond positively to this imo. The more I think about it the more I’m sure he’s probably the best coach in the world right now. To achieve top 4 and a CL final with what he’s had to work with this past season is nothing short of incredible!
Yeah I can see why people would say Pep is the best but we’re biased and love Poch. So Poch is the best.
He'll want to be granted the ability to move things forward. It's imperative for the club to progress and make sense of the construction of the very best training ground and stadium. I they're not full of world class players and happy fans respectively, the point of them is lost. I am hoping (and expecting) that Joe Lewis and Daniel Levy see that now is a time to start to loosen the reins and give Mauricio Pochettino some more help. He wants to stay and build something and we have to give him that opportunity if we intend to ensure our future is at the top table of football and then on to NFL, rugby, etc...
