Well played, we were pretty poor and got lucky for that point. Lucky that Bothroyd is ****

Well played QPR <applause> It was a typical piss poor Monday night performance from us. Pardew got his tactics completely wrong by only playing 4 in midfield so we were completely overran there for most of the game. Pleased with a point in the end, but if we'd played 5 in midfield from the start, who knows?

most dominant we've been in a long time.

    that ref is a ****.

    toon keeper is a **** <grr>

    we are...good?

    v. dissapointed with newcastle tbh, trying not to sound like a dick but i really rate you lot and no offence but that wasn't a good performance at all.

our finishing is ****, bothroyd in particular

Agree. SWP was awarded MOM and Taarabt has all the showboating moments (he was good though!) but Faurlin was the real difference for me. He did the job in midfield that we were hoping Tiote or Cabaye would do. Had SWP not been so good he would have been my MOM for sure.

Thanks for that. We need to start finding the net, but I'm sure that will come. You're off to a flyer, hopefully it will continue for you. I'll be happy with survival!

Also agree! Faurlin really looked a class act! SWP and Adel also caused us massive problems.. good luck this season :)

I'm sure you'll stay up with the quality of the likes of Adel, SWP, Faurlin, Barton, Young(solid today) and Kenny!

Nope you don't sound like a dick, entirely agree! Don't judge us on tonight! We'll have much much better games! Hopefully Ameobi won't start again and Santon, our new left back, will start games very soon. Ben Arfa to come back soon too, watch out for him.. he could very well make Taarabt look League One standard ;)

And don't call Timmy a ****! He's just excellent ;) Didn't have a vast amount to do though, you skied it too often! ;) ha

Good luck for the season, keep going at this rate and you'll survive! Don't do a Blackpool.

QPR will stay up no problem, SWP is a shrewd signing. Faurlin is quality.

I'm pretty sure I stated that your midfield "bossed the game" and you should have won. Is that black and white glasses? Or the fact that FAURLIN (never heard of him before or even saw the back of his shirt tonight as he was not too involved, hense the reason I thought he was anonymous as Cabaye and didnt know how to spell his name) did nothing of note after the first fifth/quarter of the game? A little bit of a hypocritical statement from you I think.

Worst performance in a while, how long does it take Pardew to realise that playing a 4-4-2 with Shola just doesn't work? Especially against teams like QPR, his tactics are awful at times.

Props to QPR though, spotted the weakness and took advantage. Deserved a win in my opinion. <ok>

We are off to a flyer but not sure it will continue. I think we've been pretty poor in all four games, except in defence. I suppose it is a good sign that we have so many points without playing well but I am still worried that we are not clicking as a team this season.

I was concerned for you guys before the post-Fernandes signings, but with the new additions and that performance I am sure you will be ok!

I have to say, that it is a pleasure having banter with you Geordies. In the championship we had to put up with WUMing on a monumental scale and nobody would say a good word about us. So it is so nice to meat a bunch of passionate fans who actually congratulate a team on a good performance.

    Now for the game.

As most have said if we'd had a striker who knows where the goal is we would have won comfortably tonight. But again it could have been different if it weren't for P Kenny who made a great save from Best. Fantastic to see Warnock has built the team with Derry and Faurlin still in the middle, was sad that we were going to lose one of them. But tonight showed that we should be safe this season, I just fear that we might lack goals.

But I have to say that is the loudest I've heard Loftus Road and certainly the first time I've heard us out sing Necastle fans. And I didn't see one Newcastle fan with his top off, are you lot going soft?
