These aren’t mine, I don’t buy the kits, but are from multiple users on one of the Facebook fan pages.

It’s insane, like you say, that they think this is acceptable.

There should always be more red stripes than white IMO.

As an old git I don't understand the need to change anything from the collared version from the nineteen fifty's other than the need to get the fans to spend more of their hard earned cash. ( says he who bought his share back in the day).

That’s exactly what I said, donate them to Africa or whatever so they aren’t a total bust.

Fans can’t be stumping up full whack for that.

Adidas have done the new Arsenal kits.

Bespoke, nod to history, really nice job.

Just pisses me off even more <laugh>

The shirts were already made before the charity sponsorship was agreed.. You can only see the old one if you turn it inside out, so can't see why it is an issue.. I got mine today..

I understand that mate, and I see it as an issue as they are still charging £50, for what are effectively seconds.

It wouldn’t cost the club a penny to insist Adidas remake the kits, we are paid a flat rate and not incentivised on sales.

You can buy seconds from adidas outlets for pennies, even for one stitch being imperfect etc, I don’t see how heat fixing a transfer over it is acceptable at all.

Adidas, for all I love the brand, have treat Sunderland as second rate throughout this kit deal.

I’d be inclined to accept it if it was the clubs money, but it isn’t, it’s a company that about 4 weeks ago recorded record sales and profits.

$22 billion of sales and $9billion profit, as a point of note. Can’t afford to reproduce about 5,000 shirts that cost them less than £3 per unit to produce? That’s my issue mate, not so much with the club.

I’ve grown to like the shirt I have to say, on a separate note.

I don't know how it works mate, but it really doesn't bother me at all.. I love the look of the new top and that's all that counts for me..

Fair play mate. I’d assume the club will replace them if after a few washes the transfer shrinks and the embossing of the original logo shows through.

I personally wouldn’t pay full whack for altered goods of any nature.

My brother was at the club shop today. Says they look much better in person than in the images! Judgement reserved

I’d be happy if it was the shirt to finish 15th in the championship in mate!!
