Think it will hinge on what’s happening with Rafa. Mike won’t do it while they are still talking but I bet he will use it as a negotiating tool.
Knowing Mike Ashley he's probably told Rafa that someone on this board reckons his brother is better than him, so he's gonna take the £30m. Rafa will then have to play his brother next season and he will be sold for £50m the following summer!
If he wants to go there is not a lot we can do. We haven't been a selling club under Ashley bar those who wanted to go. We've then tended to get top whack. I can't see anyone stumping up the £30m plus he'll demand. Unless Longstaff forces his way out I don't think we'll sell.
