Speaking of which it seems to have gone all quiet on the Barnsley fracas or is it just the CPS dragging their feet.
I will be cheering you for once, and it seems whenever I do cheer a team on-a-one-off-basis that team always wins.
Well if that's the case why did we play in gold and Charlton in red in 1998 and we finished higher than them ?
This is due to a newly founded thing called a "rule change" This is where authorities decide on the rule in question and whether it should be changed and, if the vote goes the right way, the rule gets changed. I know it's something that is brand new but, now they've invented it, you know for future reference
He's out on bail. That's usually for 4 - 6 weeks to allow the police to continue with their enquiries and put a case together.
Can’t be arsed to start a thread for it, but sweet Jesus the new home kit is absolutely rascal like. Worst one yet for me, doesn’t even resemble Sunderland. Kudos to Betdaq for giving the shirt sponsorship to a charity mind.
Arrangements all made, hotel, travel, tickets, mates ... ... everything is in place for a great weekend, just need the team to show up and play the football we know they can. Charlton panic under pressure and we know we can score. As long as Wyke is supported by the midfield and full backs we'll make chances. I don't mind long balls up to Wyke as long as we get Maguire, Power, etc looking for the knockdown ... they both have a good shot on them and their keeper isn't the best imo. If we also have McGeady and Watmore to call on we surely must score. After that it's down to Big John and the defence/Cattermole. Ozturk has finally proved me right and he could be our MOTM as I thought he was at Portsmouth. Haway the Lads.
My concern about Wyke was that I've not seen him win a contested header. Gives a lot of fouls away. On the other hand Charltons centre halfs are not as strong as Portsmouths so hopefully he can do the business.

He did have a very good second half. I defiinately don't doubt his effort, which is what I wanted for a few seasons.
