Manchester United will form own Liverpool-style transfer committee in desperate bid to prevent them signing flops United have been looking to revamp their football department with a radical rethink on player recruitment Liverpool could offload Xherdan Shaqiri this summer and are keeping tabs on Villarreal starlet Samuel Chukwueze as a potential replacement, who has enjoyed a breakout year. Klopp has been linked with a move to Turin, and Tuttosport (h/t Liverpool Echo) claims that it would take £32million to land the German due to a release clause in his contract. ###Sheyi Ojo has signed a new contract###.
OR Zanjinho can't admit he was bang out of order insulting our player day 1 and has carried this one for 2 years now.
10:00 UPDATE: Felipe Anderson interest Liverpool are pondering a move for West Ham winger Felipe Anderson. The Daily Mail claim Jurgen Klopp’s side have been impressed with Anderson’s debut Premier League campaign. The Brazilian, who arrived for £36million last summer, netted nine goals and provided four assists in 36 league appearances. Anderson, 26, still has three years to run on his contract leaving West Ham in the driving seat when it comes to negotiations. RVP prediction Robin van Persie believes Pep Guardiola will leave next season and spark an era of Liverpool dominance. Van Persie said:”Of course they can, yes, because they’re close already, they’ve been close for so many years. “It goes in periods. Now you have Manchester City, who are doing unbelievable. To win back-to-back titles is very special - that shows, really, that you’re a proper team. “But it goes in phases. Maybe (City manager) Pep Guardiola will leave next year and that does something to a club. Maybe Liverpool will take over and they will dominate for the next few years. But I hope and wish Arsenal all the best to win the title. I know how difficult it is.”
They're only making fools of themselves mate, leave them to it. They even had to sleep on it for nearly twelve hours ffs
BTW I called someone a dimwit in the canteen today... the manager at the table said he couldn't sit there and listen to it cos it'd break rules.. I told him its ok as long as i don't do it twice. Once is feedback.. twice is harassment managers eh?
Felipe Anderson would be a good shout imo although it’s a new link to a new forward every single day atm. Something will stick soon....#lawofaverages mans a journo will guess right soon
Called them a dimwit and thats breaking rules Mind you cant call anyone a ****** anymore just incase they actually are ffs
That's a good suggestion but not sure if there are any links. He would slot into the midfield perfectly as thst 'passer'. There are too many occasions when people say x club needs a 'midfielder'. That's too generic as there are different types of midfielders. CAMs, defensive /holding, box to box and Deep lying play-makers. All midfielders, but all different with different skill-sets. Felipe Anderson is more of a deep lying play-maker.
Depay is an interesting one for me - obviously struggled at United (I think everyone did at that time!) but he’s clearly talented both before and after the United stint. Scores goals, creates, pacey and can play along the front line.
Agreed, especially compared to last season. But the talent is there and he has posted good numbers over past 2 years. I think he fits the profile ...
10:30 UPDATE: Timo Werner deal unlikely Liverpool have been handed a boost in their pursuit of RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner. Werner’s contract is set to expire in June 2020 and the Germany international isn’t expected to extend his stay. Liverpool and Bayern Munich have both been tipped to come knocking - but RB Leipzig manager Ralf Ragnick thinks the Bundesliga champions will pass. "I would not be so sure that [Werner] will actually go to Bayern," Rangnick told Sport Bild. "If Bayern were absolutely sure about Timo, they would have already officially contacted us with a request. Anything else would be unusual for Bayern, especially since we have a good relationship with them. "Our position has not changed: we do not want him to go into the last year of his contract without an extension. He can leave this summer when a club comes who is willing to pay a suitable transfer fee."
Hopefully. I reckon our transfer business will be done and dusted by the time the USA tour starts. That's in and around July 13th.
