Fully expect Santon and Ba to start at Villa.

 

This. Shocking performance. We got out of jail getting a point today. Totally undeserved. Tactics were wrong and Pardew failed to respond to what was going on on the pitch. We play like that against Villa and they will stuff us.

We got a draw because QPR's finishing was nowhere near as good as their build up play not because of anything we did right.

Saylor - 8 (him and Simmo both cleared off the line)
Colo - 7 - bit leggy but his backheel down the line to Jonas was sensational
Raylor - 3 - **** free kick. **** pace. **** player
Cabaye - 6 - invisible, but good passing
Obertan - 7 - good on the break
Jonas - 6 - Not as good as last season
Tiote - 6 - better
Best - 7 - good play but needs a better partner.
Ameobi - 1 - offers nothing

 

Any team that starts with Shola has problems.

 

Also disappointed with the lack of time on the pitch Sammy is getting from Pardew.

 

Apart from Raylor, Ameobi, and Tiote in the second half, I think the player performances were ok, it was just the tactics that were wrong. After it took Pardew 80mins to realise this and change them we were better than QPR and actually looked vaguely like a threat. I would prefer wrong tactics than players just playing **** to be honest because so long as Pardew realises 4-4-2 did not work, Shola is ****, and starts Santon, I think we will play well.

 

What makes you think we will though? We haven't played as poor as that yet this season. Barton wasn't even that good for us in the earlier games either, in fact a few games he played he was poor, and he is the only change to our team since then.
I really see this as a one of crap performance that we got a point out of.

 

If Best is dropped for Ba. Then i will give up all hope next weekend. And just comfort eat my way through our game.

Im in such a bad mood tonight. And 50% of it, is all down to Shola Ameobi.

 

Had you honestly never been this annoyed with him before? The man is a first class harlequin.

Has to be the way forward against Villa.. IF NOT go 4231/4411 then change things up 60 mins+ or so..

No, he normally just frustrates me. But, tonight, he's ****ing angered me. To the point in fact, where I buried my head under the table at my local. Just so people couldnt see how angry I was getting.

The **** this man can call himself a Newcastle Fan. Its a disgrace, he doesnt have a clue. He never tries at all. Looks so disinterested. If it were me, id never stop ****ing running. Try for everything going, no matter how hard it would be.

He needs to be dropped to the reserves, and be made to realise, the givin 10% in matches isnt tolorated.

 

Sameobi did more in 5 minutes than Shola did in 60!

 

Sounds good. Could also consider playing Ba up front instead of Best too! Either one like.

 

We were lucky tonight poor performance, QPR deserved to win, I'm happy with a point and I would have took it before the game as any away point is a good point for anyone outside the top 6 and I always felt QPR would be at it tonight with the positive vibe and players like Wright-Phillips, Barton and Young having a point to prove. Plus 1st game since the new owner took over.

Nothing really. I was euphemistically saying that QPR's poor strikers let us off the hook but a better team would have buried us.

It is the tactics that have pissed me off. Pardew totally underestimated them by playing 4-4-2 and there is no excuse to have waited so long into the game to change to 4-5-1.

 

You'd be good company for my husband, he gets so wound up by Shola, he's normally pretty mild mannered but he used my brothers ticket for the Fulham game, soon as I heard Shola was playing I was having visions of him being hurled out by the stewards. I can't believe how wound up he gets because of him.

 

. Shola seems like a nice guy too. I wonder if he realises how much he annoys the **** out of everybody by being so crap at football.
