So wouldn't it make more sense to regulate the sale of it. Rather than say a 12yr old getting a bag of weed of a guy who may offer them something a little stronger. They would need ID in a shop.
I'm surprised. I didn't know you smoked it. Oh I've just thought why you'd be quiet about it. Yeah, if it was to be legalised I'd like to see the THC levels capped at about 20%, that's strong enough. There's stuff going about now close to 30% and it's way too heavy for recreational use. It causes to much fatigue. I agree about getting into it early. Maybe 21 and over?
Same also applies for the potency levels. Don't know what you're going to get unless you grow it yaslef
When a teenager drinks underage there is always someone accountable. Either it's someone who gave the teen alcohol or someone who sold it to them without checking. With drugs, make them illegal and noone can really be help accountable. I don't think drug dealers care if they're selling to someone "under age". I'd be curious if there is any evidence either way that kids take it up sooner or later when it's made legal... Either way... I still think it should be legal, just well regulated so can't be mixed with dangerous impurities, etc... That's what really kills people.
I don't know the strength on the streets nowadays. Skunk was harsh when I stopped. I grew up on proper weed, where you had to pick the seeds out Weed was fcking ace, none of the mong effect, all the high, ****s and giggles. Then was around through the period when weed just disappeared and skunk came in and it got stronger and stronger. Then had the littluns and quit, just personal preference I suppose. Looking at a documentary on the U.S. where it's legalised (think it was with that Police Commissioner bloke) the stuff on sale in the shops was so many % higher than the illegal stuff prior to it. If they can cap it then that's a winner. And age yeh 21 and over imo.
Pointless the law keep chasing this. Legalise and raise tax revenue for the NHS....and make sure all the taxes goes to the NHS. It will remove the problem of funding overnight. If the law is concerned about recreational use then sell it in coffee shops (hopefully everyone knows what I mean) - and ensure the premises are not near a school. Do i smoke cannabis no, have i smoked it, yes.
Liverpool board lol Shame cos there's some good **** in there. Colorado recreational marijuana sales first started on Jan. 1, 2014. Colorado also collected more than $135 million in marijuana taxes and fees in 2015 — more than $35 million of which isearmarked for school construction projects. “These are amazing numbers,” said attorney Steve Fox, one of the principal drafters of Colorado’s pot-legalizing Amendment 64, “especially on the tax revenue side.” Colorado released marijuana tax data for December 2015 on Tuesday, showing a major uptick in month-over-month sales. Recreational pot sales jumped more than 21 percent from November to December, landing at $62.2 million — a monthly record in the state’s legal era. Medical sales jumped more than 32 percent in thesame period, totaling $39.1 million. The data on Colorado marijuana sales and taxes ended months of speculation surrounding the 2015 totals, which some believed would top $1 billion. Even though sales didn’t reach that lofty mark, legalization advocates are still content with the 2015 totals. “It’s remarkable that less than seven years ago, all of that money was being spent in the underground market,” said Mason Tvert, the Marijuana Policy Project’s communications director.“Clearly there’s a large demand for marijuana, and we’re now seeing that demand being met by legitimatebusinesses that are answering to authorities instead of criminals who answer to nobody.”
Meh, it's good to be in a place where I can take it or leave it n have a few days off if I want. Always been all or nothing before.
Legalise that ****. Tired of having to ring the Albanian who then tries selling me everything else he has. Tbh I don’t even smoke it that much anymore but nonetheless, it’s harmless in comparison with some of the stuff we can already buy over the counter.
you got stoned and ****ed up didn't you? Just say no, kids. Or say yes... What was the question again....?
