Have to say we are looking good, just need to take these chances because they do look dangerous on the break. Enjoyable game new lads look as if they have been at LR for years, NW needs to remind Ferdi & Gabbi not to give the ball away so easily in 2nd half.

    Up the R's

of course not but that isn't what I asked :) NU are not playing well cos the Rangers won't let them. com'on lads give credit where it's due.. the R's are playing well whatever the final result is.

Really disappointed with us so far, but credit to QPR, they have been so much sharper than us.

This could be a remake of the "the great escape" by NU :)

Been shocking so far by us, but QPR are showing 10X more desire and far more pace...Raylor V SWP? Stupid, get Santon on....Playing long balls up to Leon Best will get us nowhere...looked better since Ba came on but crying out for a bit of effort from someone else - Sammy Ameobi for example!

Fair play lads, could have got 3 if it wasn't for our defence. I said i'd be happy with a point and I still stand by that. Best of luck for the rest of the season apart from the return leg :)

you have to score goals to win matches, we didn't but still VERY happy with the way this new team played together for the first time... think we will do ok and stay up this year :)

Newcastle's most diabolical performance since I can remember, very fortunate to get away with a point.

Santon is our only exceptional full back... where was he?

Enjoyable game and we didn't look out of place, maybe we can do this and survive.

Well played lads did us proud now all we need are some goals, go to Wolves now with a bit of confidence.

Poor, typical monday night. No ambition. No effort, no energy, no spark, no life, no passing, no guile, no spirit, no chances. Pardew and his boys owe me 90 minutes of my life that i've just wasted. Could have been worse though, a point earned, another clean sheet for TimmyKay, nonetheless, gotta be disappointed, not by the result so much but by the showing and lack of performance. Midfield was poor, specially Tiote and Cabaye who just wasn't up for it today. Obertan looked the most interested of the bunch but drifted away, Jonas laboured but looked confused in combo with Raylor. Best tried but faded too and no idea why Shola is started when half fit. Positives...struggling right now. Negatives.. oh well, no shockers at least. Tiote needs to be told off, trying to turn your way out of trouble and giving it away 3 times in a row is not acceptable. But his teammates need to give him space to play into and not just expect him to do something with it.

Barton looked decent for QPR, so did Faurlin, and Taraabt, even Derry. We didn't ask their defence any questions, still think they will struggle at their own end. The german commentator was suggesting newcastle will fight relegation while qpr have to be in the top 10. Dunno about that. Villa away next. Another tough trip, let's hope we can keep our unbeaten run. Draw at Villa and I'll be content.
