8 points. Another clean sheet. Unbeaten. Sure we were ****, but at least we are **** and able to keep a clean sheet nowadays.

    Progress! <ok>

Can't wait to see how Pardew tries to find the positives in that absolute mess of a performance!
    For ratings i'd say:

    Krul - 6
    Simpson - 8
    Saylor - 7
    Colo - 6
    Raylor - 3
    Obertan - 7
    Tiote - 5
    Cabaye - 6
    Gutierrez - 6
    Shola - 3
    Best - 6

    Marveaux - 6
    Ba - 6
    Sammy - 6

In short, only really Simmo and Saylor stood out, other than that, everyone looked pretty average

lucky point and a good point for the table ! they were better than us , and we didnt really know what we wanted ! at the end it was just a mish mash for us ! No one to aim for and no one to lead ! Im sure we will improve for Villa !

Good things to take out of this game. Clean Sheet. Again. CL Place, except we haven't really earned it. We need Best to play most of the game, but a new striker. It is very clear how we need a new striker. Santon will be pissed off at not playing (not a good thing). Hopefully he starts against Villa. He was woeful. Only 4.5 days til the Villa game. Best played well, so did Simmo(not as much in the second half), Colo and Saylor. Krul had nothing to deal with but when he had to, he did. Good kicking aswell from him. We should've started with 3 midfielders and then brought on Ba to accompany Best. Cabaye was lost without a Gosling, or Marveaux to play with him. In 8 days, Ben Arfa will play against Forest. Obertan was good first half, not so much in the second. Gutierrez has to start on the bench next match - he looked off the pace for the third match running, and I reckon someone like Sameobi/even maybe Lovenkrands, to play there.

We need to start playing Ba and Best upfront, they just need more games to gel.
We have no goals in this team..

In seasons gone by we'd have lost. We helped QPR play well. How bad were Tiote and R Taylor? Obertan was poor on the wing, needs to be in the centre to look threatening. Overall a point gained all things considered.

4 points from those 2 games and we'll probably still be in the top 6!

Good result, considering the awful performance. Shola once again proves why he shouldn't be picked. I though Obertan was poor also, didn't track back at all and offered nothing going forward, I would drop him for the next game. Simmo was much better IMO, hopefully a sign of things improving with him.

Pardew needs to get out of this fixation with 4-4-2 though, we were completely dominated in midfield largely due to QPR's extra midfielder.

Thinking about it, we played most of that game with 8 players (Tiote, Shola and Raylor were ****e), and we still got a clean sheet! Bloody lucky they have Bothroyd up front though!

Keep up the 2 points per game ratio and we'll have 76 points come the end of the season... Enough for second place last season ;)

Woeful performance but still got a point. QPR were well up for this game, and Taarabt to be fair tonight was brilliant. Made some players look like lemons. But as has been said previously, we would have lost that in days gone by. Another clean sheet is a brilliant effort. We have to improve significantly for the Villa game, because they won't be so wasteful.

The only positive was the point.

Raylor, Tiote, Obertan, Shola and Best(second half) were quite awful.

I liked Marv and Sammie when they came on, showed some good runs and touches.
