last thread of the day, around south london especially lewisham, peckham and up as far as london bridge their are hundreads of derelict shops ,this got me thinking how can you claim one of these properties if it has been disused for number of years?is their anyway where you can claim them for free and move in and do up?has anyone actually done this be interested to know your stories and renovation on old shops and how did you claim the property?
im serious if a property has been empty for more than 6 years theirs a law you can claim it but have to go through land registry what been told is this correct?
I claim this thread to talk about Fishing What kind of fishing is your favorite ? Sea fishing, lake fishing a mixture? do you use power bait or maggots or do you stay legal ?
theirs a nice little 2 bed park house gorgeous nothing wrong with it but been derelict for about 10 years or so,i was in car the other day and we drove past it looks stunning but just all boarded up.I would love to somehow claim this property and do it up and turn into a cafe for all the coach drivers who park outside, ive tried contacting everyone about this place but to no avail council say they dont own it the park say they dont own it so my question who does?
you can enquire to the land registry to find out who owns land. it costs about £40 in scotland. dont know if you can do this in england though
