Quick question that my son asked me after accidentally watching a Sunday morning political show (he cant remember which one). How is left and right side politics defined? I asked him what he meant? He said well, what does a person who is on the left think is correct and what does the one who votes on the right think? Told him to Google it !!
Tell him that those on the left care about everybody, whilst those on the right care only about themselves. It's good versus evil. Leftists wear white hats and right-wingers wear black - or is that just cowboy films?
That's a little unfair. I don't just care about myself. I also care about you and sometimes feel a twinge for Oslo. Mostly me, though,
A perfect example being Venezuela where Maduro loves his people so much he's starving them to death whilst ensuring his military are well looked after...
Nothing changes does it. You call leave voters morons, Strolls calls us freaks and here we are, 3 years on, with the result of the referendum still being contested. Remainers simply cannot accept the fact that we voted to leave by a clear margin, due to their almost religious devotion to the undemocratic EU. (Cue all the old arguments and insults)
Bit harsh, calling them wot voted Leave morons, matey-peeps. As I said on earlier contributions, carry through on the Brexit and chaps like Mr Nigel **** off back to their privet hedges, gentlemen’s clubs and after-dinner speaking circuits. He just wants Parliament to deliver on what it asked the people. It’s quite simple, really. Even I can grasp that and I’m one of them thar morons.
I know plenty of morons who voted leave, I know plenty of morons who voted remain. I also know plenty of decent folk who voted both ways. We are all bloody morons for believing the politicians we elected to represent us. They are no better than the unelected politicians who represent the EU in Europe. I personally dont trust any of them, May, Corbyn and especially Farage. Hence I will be changing my vote to - not voting.
What difference does voting make **** it changing my mind again as I definitely will need to feel the right about complaining about something!
Only by not voting do you retain the right to complain about anything you like. Voting legitimises the system which has brought us to where we are - hating each other. They are kidding you that the only alternatives are the ones represented on the ballot paper.
I could never be offended by anything an immature chap like you throws at me (plus those who like your infantile posts). I was merely pointing out that, three years on, you are still resorting to throwing insults at leave voters. Quite sad.
The only thing that not voting does is to benefit the party you like the least and could never have voted for anyway. The system is not worried about whether the turnout is high or low - for them it is legitimate either way - but the lower the turnout is the more chances you have of a freak result.
Just a little twinge? Like an anal fischure, or a ripped haemeroid perhaps.? Or have you had to stand in that passport control queue at Stansted again. I think I said you need to get the chip in your passport, not tattooed inside your knickers.
