Morning all. High level light cloud this morning, enough to prevent a decent view of the lovely French countryside if you are flying overhead. On Tuesday I was talking to a doctor who had had to take early retirement as he was starting to lose his sight. Being in the know he moved over here where there was treatment unavailable in the UK, and was quite thankful that he did as he now has better vision than he had for a very long time. To lose ones sight when there are so many beautiful things around us must be very hard.
Hello all, My routine at the moment is dominated by F.A. Cup final thoughts at every stage of the day. The closer it gets the more I can't focus on much else. I bet I am driving my wife loca! Anyways, not long now.
Morning all. Hazy sunshine, but dry and warm without the wind that has been blowing most of the week. Rain forecast for later, which I don't mind as everything was getting dry, and I had started to water plants to prevent them stopping and starting. These sales calls are a real pain. They used to start about midday, go on for a couple of hours, then start up again in the evening. Lately they have started about 10.00 am. Looking up just who they are makes you realise that you cannot stop them. Block one number and you find they have maybe 30-40 others very similar. When you are expecting a call that you want they just waste your time.

Morning all. Grey and damp but still mild. I really ought to be gardening today, but it is that Sunday when we go out to sample the latest offerings of a master chef. No doubt yesterday will be mentioned, but I had been playing down expectations of a surprise, so will be able to appear to be in the know. Remember it is only a year to the next Cup Final. Morning all.. rousing myself for a few jobs and then the flight back to Limoges. Last train back to Leeds was hard.. All very tired, and lots of city fans.. Most ok.. But some triumohalism as we arrived in Leee.. As Mlle said there is no doubt Watford fans would have done the same.. Mlle has to face her Leeds colleagues at work and play.. Morning all. Sunshine and showers forecast for today, so a rather on/off sort of day could be in store. Carrier has telephoned to say my package that has been missing for two weeks will be delivered this afternoon. Wait and see I think, but it does sound hopeful.
Hola a todos, Have a good summer, I will be back just before it all starts again. Time to switch off from football for it bit, it has been too intense recently. Hopefully, a couple of decent signings will freshen things up for next season. Take care all!!
