I worry for Liverpool as I don't see strength in depth. I also see players leaving as coming close isn't winning. Aren't they also owned by a yank?
Yep but a yank who actually cares about the club and willing to spend to bring success. I don't think any of the big players want to jump ship, maybe Mane might be tempted to go to Madrid.Do agree they are short in midfield and could do with a creative midfielder like Coutinho a couple of years ago. Take out the top three lads up front and it's hard to see where the goals will come from.
It was - but still one of the greatest days of my life. We weren't good enough but they tried - that city team is phenomenal. Every football fan should watch them live one day as that's when you see how good they are.
I got home from my grandson's league match (won 4-3 after trailing 3 times- nails are shorter now) just in time to see it from 15 mins in and saw a lovely move which should have ended up in the net to make it 1-0 to Wolves. I continued to watch in hope until City got the 3rd. That was enough for me. Glad you enjoyed it though Dan (masochist)
Star Catcher didn't win but she went out there in honest fashion and kept pulling out a bit more to go down by a neck and the same in third place. She went off 6/1 and ran well while largely unfancied. Well backed favourite Queen Power scrambled home really and make no appeal to me for the Oaks even though she was shortened for the race afterwards. Lavender's Blues ran really well in second on her second start and may do quite well going forward. Sea Of Faith was the disappointment of the race, only managing to beat the rank outsiders home. On this evidence she will probably skip the Oaks. William Haggas had said coming into the race that the form of his fillies debut had taken a dip and that he felt she was not in Sea Of Class's league. He opined that 12F would probably suit her better than 10F but watching her today didn't give me that impression. I was happy enough with my analysis of the race and the effort from my selection. Watching the Lockinge I thought my pick Mustashry was tapped for toe and was pretty much just hoping he could stay on to grab a place in the first 4 to reward an each-way selection. It turned out that he stayed on by far the best and scored well enough in what looked like a personal best performance. I don''t really fancy him for Royal Ascot, particularly at the odds now, and will work on a bet for that race in due course. Well done to all winners on Saturday, I was delighted by the runs from both my selections.
You have had a hard time of it Ron, City played Watford Mate not Wolves and yes should have scored from that move. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
