Hugh Birt testified, under oath that Jock Stein kicked Torbet out if Celtic after allegations of sexual abuse were made against him. He did that in a court of law whilst giving EVIDENCE.

Hugh Birt had resigned from Celtic in protest at Torbett being allowed to return to CBC by Celtic chairman Kevin Kelly. A full decade before Lou Macari became Celtic manager. So Hugh Birt told him nothing.

Hugh Birt suffered despicable abuse from Celtic fans. He was completely ostracized by the "Celtic family" because he dared to stand up and tell the truth. Yes he could have come forward sooner and informed the police but he still deserves praise for his courage in coming forward knowing how the Celtic masses would react to his testimony.

After all these years and despite the recent convictions of multiple *****philes who caused utter carnage amongst the kids at CBC you are on here vilifying the man still.
