I wanted city to win the league because I wanted anyone but Liverpool to win it. But they have ruined English football.
Same here. It takes all sorts of elements to make a football match, so occasionally I like to see one team really show what they are capable of. And despite having more money than practically every other club, Man City manage to be a glamour team without serious offence because they've been underdogs to that other team across the city for much of the past 50 years.
Said earlier this season that if it's those two again next year I'll be completely behind Klopp and the Scousers.
Can see City sticking to the near 100 point mark next season, doubt Liverpool will be able to do it again. Maybe one of the other top 6 teams will have a similar season to Liverpool this year
Bring back the old Southern League I say... Saints, Pompey, Brighton, Bournemouth, Watford, Luton the Devon clubs, Bristol clubs, Thames valley and maybe a few cockney teams...whatdyasay, are you with me?
I won’t deny they play amazing football. But before the money they were a nothing team. They were just like us. Also will get slated here probably but I still don’t rate Pep that highly. Every job he’s had has had bucketloads of money and he said been at a team already best in the league. Yes he’s had to tinker at City but he’s had so much money to do so.
Never been a fan of City or Pep, felt kinda wrong this season if I'm honest but greater good n all that. Don't want them winning a third in a row though. Plus, Adam won't be there next year.
I can't see where Man City have ruined English football anymore than any other club. While the rules are as they are at the moment this result will always happen. Now, if every club had the same fixed amount of money to spend on players, and they had the same fixed size of pot in which they could pay them from, then we might start getting proper competition. But nobody seems to want fair play. Personally, I'd love it. Level playing field. Then we'd really see how good the Pochettinos, Guardiolas and Klopps were.
Of course you’re right about the money, but you still have to get a squad of brilliant players with massive egos to play with discipline and hunger.
