Laurens looks a bit bonny. Left a bit to work on?

really good call, mate!wd.but im not too disheartened with my filly.she had a trouble free run throughout the race, and held on well for second.was just beaten by a better horse today.but it gives hope for another stellar season,if she stays sound and healthy.

Laurens was shattered in the last 100m.
What was Moore up to in the first 7f? Seemed to be looking for the most difficult place to be.

Watford's fullback must really rue that rescinded red card from last week. Twisted blood.

Had a great chance at 0-0 too. So it could have been 6-1 <laugh>. To be fair you have to hand it to Man City, great team but hardest working. The 80/90s AC Milan side of Baresi, Maldini, Van Basten, Gullit was the same.

This is a great City side but not the best ever premier league team (according to Jamie Redknapp). Arsenal Invincible side for me all day long!Old Sir bacon face had a couple of decent sides in his time as well.

Yep some quality sides you mention there Ste. This City side are surely in the discussion though. I love to see a great side who work as hard as they do. Looked like Pep was giving Sterling a bit of additional coaching after the presentation. Chill out mate and take a well earned holiday <laugh>. Who knew that 120 years ago it was Bury who were the best side in Greater Manchester. Last team to win 6-0 in an FA Cup final.

Not much of a surprise that I watched the Cup Final in a half empty pub as they all support Liverpool and Man United in ‘Ull.

How did Kevin De Bruyne get MOTM when he played half an hour off the bench? Did several of those making the decision have bets?

Why were both the BBC and BT Sport trying to claim a hat-trick for Raheem Sterling, when it was quite clear that the ball bounced over the line for Gabriel Jesus in the first half before Sterling kicked it? On the BBC website the headline is “Sterling scores hat-trick” yet the scorer summary reads “Silva (26’), Gabriel Jesus (38’, 68’), De Bruyne (61’), Sterling (81’, 87’)”. Morons trying to make any story they can out of a total annihilation.

On BT Sport, why was Rio Ferdinand wearing white shoes with a black suit? Was he just trying to confirm that ex-footballer pundits really have no idea but the money is good?

I had to laugh after the trophy had been presented seeing Guardiola going around giving Pep talks to half of his players on the pitch instead of just letting them celebrate completing the treble. Have they got a game next week?

Clearly Laurens needed her seasonal debut. Last year she was beaten by a 66/1 shot in the 1000 Guineas.

It has to be said that she has won all her five Group 1 races against her own sex and they may end up resorting to races restricted to fillies and mares again if one of the three year old milers turns out to be reasonably good.

Whilst delighted for Sir Michael that Mustashry won today, I was at Newmarket when he made his debut in the Earl Of Sefton and this was a Group 1 race in name only. Otherwise Zabeel Prince and Forest Ranger that finished ahead of the gelding at HQ are better than Group 3 horses.

For a long time the Lockinge used to be a Group 2 race and it was run on a Friday. I remember very well going to see the champion miler Warning make his seasonal reappearance and he was turned over under a Group 1 penalty but won the Queen Anne easily next time out.

Since it became a Group 1 it has attracted some top Group 1 winners but when it is competitive like this year it is because there is no standout Group 1 horse.

Jermaine Jenas trying to be edgy. Agreed crap decision. JJ said it wouldn't have been 6-0 if he hadn't come on. It was 2-0 when he was introduced on 55 mins and Watford had to open up to try and get back in the game.

Yeah they were taking the piss giving Prince Harry De Bruyne MOTM. I think City and Liverpool are going to dominate the premier league for the next five years between them, throw back to the Fergie/Wenger era.Looks like Abramovich just isn't arsed with Chelsea anymore, Utd need about 500m to turn that team around, Arsenal have a yank owner just interested in making money and Daniel Levy is tighter than a ducks arse.
