Though it would've been (even more) funny to see a club that finished 15 points behind Pompey grab the promotion place. Playoffs eh?
Hope Sunderland go up. Not sure I could cope with another season with their obnoxious fans on twitter.
I’m sure their fans and players are equally enthused at the thought of not having to encounter your delightful fans, in person, next season.
Out of interest PL is the club going to ban the fan (who has been identified) ? Or even admit what happened, an apology to Luke ONien would be nice seeing as how mature he;s been about it all.
Not surprised, hell of a way to go at inflated prices. This whole business is actually one thing I agree with Klopp about. The fans are completely ignored when it’s decided where finals are held. Why not just wait until they know who is in the final and pick the nearest neutral ground to both clubs?
The wife says “I’m chucking that table cloth out because it must of come from Portsmouth”.....why do you think that I ask ? Because it sits on top of the table but slides down as time goes on...
I don't see a problem with having it known before the season starts but it should be a requirement that the airport/City can take lots of visitors.
I’m thinking about the implications of accelerating climate change by ferrying thousands of English football fans to Baku and Madrid completely unnecessarily. That is unacceptable in itself, over and above the astronomical costs to the fans.
Watford winning today would be hilarious on quite a few levels. It would secure their place in Europa League, it would plunge Utd into the group stage that starts on the 25th July. Not only that, but they have already booked themselves to play in a tournament in Singapore on the same day! Its just not as funny if City win, so, come on you Hornets!
That would be quite funny. I always get p*ssed off at the moans from successful clubs about playing too many games in a season. This of course after playing several post/pre season games in various far flung places for, erm, money. They also seem unaware that some clubs have to play qualifying and group games before they even get near the 'glamour' stage they enter at. Utd have form in this area in past years, it would be nice to see them slumming it with the mere mortals of the footy world.
Sunderland midfielder, Grant Leadbitter, played Wednesday, 24 hours after the death of his mother, something he kept secret from all but his manager and best mate. Respect and condolences to him.
