Maybe Poch should respect Gareth by letting him play the players he wants? I'm sure he'd argue he gets so little time with his players that every session counts. In the same way as why should the PL care about the national side then by the same token why should Southgate care about Spurs (or any club)?
Because that's how you get a Fergie situation and clubs pulling all of their players out whenever they feel like it. Pochettino hasn't said anything about Southgate, so don't blame him for it. This is my opinion. Southgate is too reliant on a small group of players and overuses them, failing to even look for a Plan B. Kane was miles off the pace at the World Cup and it showed. Alli was injured and he played him anyway. That's not good for the players, the club, the England team or the fans watching it.
If you say so bruv, I've made my reasons clear many times and it seems to bother everyone else more than me. Very strange tbh.
What it is mate is one set of fans are upset because they got too many players playing and the other set of fans are upset because they haven't got enough!
pff, you've always collapsed at the business end of the season, whether your players were in the England squad or not.
Really? Not met many people with that view, even some players thought it was second rate. I'd rather watch Southampton tbh
Think this Nations League will improve things largely getting rid of friendlies, still relatively early days but I've liked this first version of it so far.
Like the 2016/17 season, where we won 19 of the last 23 games? Or last season, where we lost 2 of the last 20 league games, winning 14?
