No one is playing - this is serious but it's been well covered in all sorts sections of the media. if you care to read it. This is our problem at CCFC and those from other clubs who want to assume the moral high ground are pretty thick on the ground. Stop playing the aggrieved party and getting so precious. Well it started so well last night, great atmosphere, free scarves (lol) and a goal to put us 2-0 up. But once Berardi was booked we should have brought Jansson on, not sure why you would play on with a player like Berardi for almost 75 mins knowing what his disciplinary record is like. Jansson would have calmed everything down (including cooper). Casilla needs to be told he ain't Manuel Neuer, and just do 'keeping' he's not the 5th man in defence. It was his (and coopers) mistakes that cost us - no one else. Bamford is useless and needs to go, everyone else played well , although Hernandez was exhausted about 5 games ago and hasn't had time to recover, so was not effective at all, Ayling had an excellent game in my opinion, as well as Shackleton and Harrison. Phillips also tried to sort out the headless chicken 10 mins that occurred after Derbys 2nd. He needs to stay, i'm not sure he will but we need to build the team around him, we need some depth to the team, and some decent signings (loans if necessary). The Dan James thing seems to have gone now so we need to look elsewhere, I don't think Derby will go up, so how about getting Harry Wilson in on loan next season and also Dwight Gayle, they're both proven and would improve us massively. Derby apparently are in the **** financially and are relying on going up to balance the books.so they won't be getting wilson back if they're still in the championship. I think Klich will be massive for us next year alongside phillips (fingers crossed). If we do need to sell hopefully we will be asking for decent fees like £15m for phillips, none of this crappy £5m **** spread over a million years, need to get as much back on bamford as poss and ship out the players that have no chance of playing for us e,g cibicki, sakho, ekuban, grot etc we should get a tidy some from those sales plus getting the wages off the books. Not sure about alioski, he had a good second half of the season but is too erratic to be relied upon consistently.If we could get £5m for him i would sell, but we definitely need 5 decent signings, 2 central defenders, someone to replace alioski and 2 top strikers. Anyway that's my rant over....although the only good thing i can say about last night is that at least we didn't save that performance for the final.
