True about you parents but you get really indoctrinated at school in many ways.
My parents moved me from one school to another a year before my 11 plus. Some boys, because of their age had to stay in school and go through the same lessons. Some already knew their subjects and messed about and like a fool I was encouraged to mess about too.....and failed my 11 plus. Some years later,I bumped into one of those boys and he actually apologized! He'd passed and gone on to Tottenham Grammar. As it happened,I've had a good interesting life, been lucky.....so maybe it was all planned...…?

In an American game, one throws a ball(?),one runs and catches it and it's called football.
In an American game, one dribbles and shoots a football with his feet and it's called soccer
In an American game, two men sock each other with their fists and it's called boxing.
What do you call making boxes,I wonder?

Kane and Winks have been named in Gareth Southgate's England squad, despite being injured:
    https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/48299337

They join Rose, Trippier, Alli, Dier and anyone else in our squad who doesn't already play for another country.
    **** off, Gareth. :emoticon-0173-middl

Told you this weeks ago. As I said, time for the manager and players to front up and say :

    1. if they are not starting XI match-fit right now, they should be staying with their
club physios etc to continue recovery

    2. if they are match-fit, stating they have had the longest seasons and want
this summer to recover to peak fitness for both club and country NEXT season

At least the internationals are after the CL Final. I'm pretty sure after the internationals, everyone is going on their holidays for a well-deserved rest.

Five days after the CL final

With a final three days later

    All taking place in Portugal

Still, could be worse: the Chavs were in the USA of America playing a pointless friendly against New England Revolution because someone at the club booked an end-of-season jolly without considering they might be playing in either the Europa league or FA Cup finals...

I'd suggest that the ****up started when, looking for any team to play in a match against hate, the organisers picked Chelsea of all ****ing teams...

Why? It's a match against hate. They're hate and they're playing against someone else.

You think they'd have stacked the odds better so hate wasn't overwhelming favourites to win

I hope the FFF don't expect Hugo or Sissoko to play against Bolivia...

Trippier and Winks axed from the England as it is trimmed to 23 - probably no surprise in all honesty, though Delph stays in which is odd

Disappointed with Davies - I know that International football is important to some players - but if he needs the op he should be having it this week and getting fit for the start of the season we pay his wages and I think he should have put us first on this occasion.

Why do you think he chose to postpone the surgery? Perhaps it was outside his control...

Can't wait until he inevitably aggravates the injury further and is ruled out until October...
