Chris Willock, a striker from the Arsenal academy we were linked with in January, has now come back on the radar: https://www.pinkun.com/norwich-city/transfer-rumours-chris-willock-benfica-exit-ex-arsenal-1-6051471 He's now with Benfica, but there's a lot of competition for him and it'd depend on how much Benfica want for him.
GET SWOOPIN' Transfer window opens today for domestic transfers. We have to wait till 11th June for international moves.
*Snub alert* A great way for our silly season of "swooping" and "snapping up" to commence! https://www.pinkun.com/norwich-city/canaries-transfer-rumours-andreas-samaris-1-6052138
Swoop, swoop, oh baby rock, rock... Alexis Claude-Maurice https://www.pinkun.com/norwich-city/canaries-transfer-rumours-alexis-claude-maurice-1-6052871
Good for him choosing possible title success and Europe over doubling his salary. Essential whoever we get in wants it badly!!!!
Probably missed this during last week but good luck to Ivo going back to base camp, as it were. A very fine city to base oneself Ivo Pinto [Norwich - Dinamo Zagreb] Free
Not at all predictable, hey? (From BBC goss page) Chelsea will leave a decision on Sarri's future as head coach until after the Europa League final against Arsenal on 29 May. (Telegraph) Derby County manager Frank Lampard, whose side have reached the Championship play-off final, has been chosen to return to former club Chelsea to replace Sarri. (SportMediaset, via Star)
I needed cheering up this morning - thanks Cromer. Just because the (once) 'mighty Leeds' GIFTED them a trip to Wembley .......
This has to be squit surely. Lampard had Derby finish 6th! Has very little managerial experience and would be stark starring bonkers to think now is the right time for him to lead chelski, a club notorious for sacking managers at the drop of a hat. Smacks of lazy journalism, but stranger things have happened. Bring on the Chelski dream team of Lampard and Terry! Bah!
Was never convinced by this rumour from an unknown Spanish source VIA the very dubious FLW blog. Another agent trying to improve his client's new deal.
The verdict at the end looks about right: "Fits the age profile and would be operating in a league City scouts would be well aware of. However, given the reported clubs showing interest and more importantly the eight-figure transfer fee it would take to prize him out of Lorient, looks an unlikely one. Plus Lorient could well be in Ligue 1 next season."
Alexis Claude-Maurice Have we had this one mentioned yet? Apologies if so. https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/n...acking-target-ahead-of-premier-league-return/
And another - but why, J O M is 32, Tettey 33, so no real significant age advantage. https://readnorwich.com/2019/05/16/norwich-target-john-obi-mikel-considering-multiple-offers/
Very decent player. Suppose it would depend on if he is in their plans. They have so many incredible young players. Either he might not get a go, or if they sell a lot of their prospects, he might swiftly move up the pecking order.
