i visited the mount the other weekend ,just curious was their any photos of when charlton played their ,the ground (playing service)still exists to this day and a few bits of old terracing behind some bushes i noticed!i would love to see any photos of the ground when we played their i think late 20s 30s if i can recall!im also after any woolwich arsenal ground photos of their time near the bus garage as i just want to prove to a few gooners who still think they where formed in north london!thanks for any help on this
If the Arsenal fans you know are unaware their club originally came from Woolwich, then they aint really fans are they ?
this is my point their are so north london focused its hard to show them theyre from woolwich they keep bragging no were a seperate club one word to that bollox!why one main entrance at emertes is called the woolwich suite ????
Listen I am not an Arsenal fan, in fact I cannot stand them, but even I know they are Woolwich rejects !
Pretty good thing Woolwich Arsenal decided to move to North London else the Football League would never have permitted another club (aka Charlton) to be given League Status what with the two clubs so close together
