    After watching the video, I think you're right. At normal speed it looked bad, but the slow-mo shows that he actually caught him with the edge of his heal as he stepped over Mata. It's inconclusive, so I doubt that the FA will take any action. To say that it was worse than Songs deliberate stamp on Barton is rubbish, Bardsley is a commited player, not a dirty player although I do agree that the tackle on Colo was a bad one, for which he was rightly punnished.

    Never seemed a dirty player to me, though he did lose his head against Newcastle the other week. Though he should had a straight red for the tackle on Colo.

    A running theme? That was from 3 years ago! Since then there has been the Colo tackle and that's it. He's hardly a serial offender of the Barton/Roy Keane ilk, so why are you trying to tarnish a good players reputation because of a couple of bad tackles in 3 years?

    It wouldn't be because he's a Sunderland player, would it?
