    Phil "dirty Bastard" Bardsley, not content with almost breaking Colo's leg, gave Mata a nasty stamp on Saturday (worse than Song's on Barton) - and I haven't heard any news of a potential ban? They didn't even show it on MOTD bizarrely.

    Has anyone heard if anythings happening over this? Or have they escaped a blatant 3 match ban?

    Don't get me wrong marra, i absolutely agree he deserves punishment for probably both, it's just that i find it hard to be concerned about that at the minute.

    I've seen worse, although this one wasn't pretty. If the ref missed it it can always be reviewed.

    Why would they? A Chelsea player was the victim, they didn't show Colback slicing Ramires in two either. If it had happened to a Man U, Spurs or Liverpool player they'd be hollering and screaming.

    I didn't see it at the time but it looked nasty and intentional IMO, it would have been interesting to see if we hadn't of won and if the club had of followed it up. It was a good game played in good spirit though and thankfully nobody was seriously injured.

    Dunno about you but when I step over players I don't usually force my foot down with that kind of force! He's cleverly tried to cover his tracks afterwards, which makes it even more crafty.

    Might send the FA an email about my post being moved off the sunderland board - try and get this syd fella banned for 3 matches too <laugh> crafty little beggar.
