Anyone know what the name 'Naf' might be short for? Guessing it could be short for an Asian of some sort.
Have had to wait two hours and 4 pints in the time to get a taxi. Ramadan is an inconvenience. It’s smashing it down with rain. On the plus side I’ve had four more pints.
Thought I better bump this to remind Spurlock that Ramadan is a time to practice humility so he needs to stop belittling Arsenal and Chelsea’s Europa League achievements ............... at least during daylight hours. Killed it last night with a handful of dates and water to break fast followed by a 5k run, then a Burger King Cheeseburger Meal on way home. Just had salmon, potatoes and sweetcorn for Sahur meal and now waiting for “air raid warning” from Mosque telling me its time to stop eating and get ready to pray. @Spurlock @thefanwithnoname - have you ever heard this? When I asked my servant to pack me some dates yesterday she told me that I had to eat an odd number? What’s that all about?
Orite JK Sounds like a good Ramadan atmosphere where you are. I havent heard of the date rule and that humility thing whatever yeah ok.
Just had a salad and chocken with cheese grated over it alll..tum. Strawberry milkshake from Mcdonalds...large Went on a Ramadan shoping soree...as usual, bad idea...fridge of chocolates
Always good here during Ramadan. Indonesians love their food anyway but streets packed with pop-up food stalls in the hour before Maghrib. Only downside is that internet goes slow particularly now as everyone has same routine: Eat, pray, browse.
Street food vibe around maghrib...nice smells I have to do Ramadhan somewhere like that one day with my lads.
There’s like an hours window between finishing praying and getting ready for work. You can try and sleep and wake up with indigestion or ponder whether its better to lose CL final or Win EL final. Or if you are a Newcastle fan try snd figure out what a final is.
As you have internet issues, I have done a little research. She is slightly incorrect. Prophet Mohammed ate an odd number of dates before going to pray for Eid. That is the only time it's considered "sunnah" to do this. It is often misconstrued that you should also eat an odd number when breaking your fast, but this is not the case.
