    The EL is less prestigious, but there isn’t a significant gulf between the CL and EL though. The difference between qualifying this year was 1 point. And as mentioned there are teams in the CL that aren’t as good as some in the EL

    You’ve already said you’d rather win a trophy than not win a trophy. That’s the main point here.

    Well there isn’t. As demonstrated by this year’s qualification between our respective teams. Which was 1 point.

    Yes there are some absolute cannon fodder teams at the bottom of the pack, but the same goes for the champions league.
