necessity has dictated that Grigg has not had time to give his injured leg the rest it needs.. I'm sure he will be a great assett to the club once he has rested and then had his pre season..

On the basis that he's never been picked up by a team in a higher league, I question whether he has the ability to be as successful at a third team as he was with MK and Wigan. It might just have been about being in the right place at the right time. Some seasons he's played almost every game for his club and only scored a handful of times. His record is very patchy and he was far from prolific at Walsall.

Plus, when we signed him, we needed a striker to hit the ground running, not one for next season. No one wanted to sell us a striker and we seem to have gone for whatever we could get.

We are a third tier football team and were never going to get a proven striker at the top of his game..

Anyone going Thursday? Ordered my ticket and hoping that Postman Pat does the necessary. Annoying that l couldn't order until 1.15pm today. Bloody long way for the locals, but not too bad for us expats...

You're quite right but for the money that we have reportedly spent/will spend on him, there must have been other options. He's high profile for a League 1 player- would we have spent as much on a Tom Eaves or John Marquis? Somehow, I doubt it.

i would rather have Ozturk than flanagan in defence, Bowyer reckons Portsmouth will do us but you would expect that from an ex mag. We can beat them in the final as well.
