Everyone has their own story and everyone knows deep down if they support their team for genuine reasons or they’re just a glory hunter. However it is amazing how many people support United/Pool because their mate’s third cousin shagged Norman Whiteside and he signed a napkin for her in 1983.
It is and it is isn't, they've been absolutely atrocious for the majority of this season. Be interesting to see what route they go with the appointment.
I've been meaning to ask....whose stadium is that in your sig pic? It's definitely not Tottenham's...
Yeah I think they will. He worked with **** players and kept them up whilst getting to a FA Cup semi final, not sure what more their board would’ve wanted.
I can understand it. They had a terrible last half to the season and it’s the right time to do it rather than waiting until ten games into the season. No doubt he did a brilliant job there but every business needs a refresh sometimes.
True but this would be his first down season. Its always good to give managers a free seasons you can't expect an upward trajectory every season.
Really? Are we sure about this? Shall we check? Ok...here goes Sunderland 6 top divison titles 5 2nd div /championship titles 1 3rd division/league 1 title 2 FA Cups 2 league Cups Total 16 SPURS 2 top division titles 8 FA Cups 4 League Cups 2 UEFA Cups 1 Cup Winners Cup Total 17 I deliberately left off our 2nd divison titles and Norwich Hospital Cups to keep it close
True but the way the money is now all these clubs at risk of relegation have to be brutal and thinking about the short term. Their chairman is a very clever bloke and wouldn’t have made this decision hastily.
