Morning all. Bright and breezy, but a good day to be outside. Still waiting for my delivery. Is it 50 miles away in Poitiers, or 200 miles away north-east of Paris I do not know? "It will be with you before 4.00 pm" last Friday I was informed, so I need to contact England when they open their enquiry service at 9.30 am. It is only a week late so far and the seller still hasn't updated his website to even say it has been despatched. It has been, and appears to be somewhere in France, but the last mention of it suggested that the packaging was damaged. This could turn into a long running saga!

Maybe the wind [emoji261] blew it away Frenchie. Not sure if you are getting the saw wind as us.. But no fun when you are trying to paint window frames

Certainly been blowing well, but I have spent most of the day down the fields that are protected to quite a degree by trees.

Morning all. Another bright sunny day, but still quite breezy. Off to the annual plant swap gathering this afternoon. Take a few along, leave them on the tables, then help yourself to something that you fancy. It is a social occasion as well, meeting up with French and English friends that you not have seen since the last swap. The ex-pats are quite scattered in this area, so none of the Dordogneshire that exists in some places.

Sounds good Frenchie we struggle to get decent Hardy plants here.. UK ones and Dutch ones don't tend to survive and French plant shops can be a bit limited

I guess if asked which teams received the most penalties during the PL season, many of us would have guessed at Palace or Bournemouth. Almost right as the table below shows.

    Manchester United 12
    > Crystal Palace 11
    > Bournemouth 9
    > Liverpool 7
    > Leicester City 7
    > Brighton & Hove Albion 6
    > Everton 5
    > Chelsea 5
    > Southampton 5
    > West Ham United 5
    > Arsenal 5
    > Wolverhampton Wanderers 4
    > Tottenham Hotspur 4
    > Manchester City 4
    > Newcastle United 3
    > Fulham 3
    > Cardiff City 3
    > Burnley 2
    > Watford 1
    > Huddersfield Town 1

Sunny in la France.. House preparation day. Then tomorrow at the crack of dawn. I drive to Limoges Airport, park up leaving the parking ticket in dashboard.
Go to departures. Wave at my wife, daughter and grandkids as they get off the Leeds plane.. And then get on the same plane UK bound.. COYH!

Morning all. Bright but still too breezy here. It really is knocking back the temperature. Hopeful that my delivery will soon arrive. Created a bit of a rumpus with the girl on the "service" phone line yesterday, who had not passed the information on to the carrier. Charming manners, but she doesn't seem to have time to do anything but answer the phone from customers wondering where their purchases have got to.

Morning all, hot as hell here, need the rains to come.

The FA Cup countdown begins. I know a fair few people going, unfortunately, over half of them are Citeeeeh fans.
