I'm sorry, but a 1-0 win against a team who've just been promoted isn't going to convince me NP is the right man for the job.
There's more to the Peterborough team than meets the eye. Yes they have just been promoted but they hadn't lost at home since November last year and were a side who could score goals at home who we kept largely quiet. Saturday's result was a good one if you look at things from a wider angle. However, like i said in my previous post it's going to take an improvement in the home form to convince people like yourself that he is the right guy for the job, which is understandable. 2 wins on the bounce doesn't make a season of course, but it's improved the grim outlook after the Palace game and maybe two scrappy wins is what we need to kick start our season. We need to keep it up though. We've also got more points from the first 6 games this season than we did last season, for me that is a sign of progress.
Against Palace we beat ourselves, they were cack and we gifted them the win, I can't believe they're 8th in the league, they're by far the worst team we played so far this season, Peterborough were way better. In fact, Peterborough are one of the best teams we've played this season, they have quality all over the pitch, though I suspect not much depth, which is why they'll probably suffer in the latter stages of the season.
I think a gun held to your head and electrodes clamped on your privates wouldn't convince you of that mate!
I for one expected Palace without Danns to sink like a stone, can't see them finishing top half. Posh will score plenty more goals despite their barren patch & I think they'll survive.
