totally agree. us fans just don't want the tag but being plucky underdogs is not us on this occasion and won't be very much going forward.
We finished several streets ahead of Spurs so obviously we are favourites, but not by much. In a one-off game anything can happen.
I also think we have more experience of a CL final after last season. That should be a significant advantage over Spurs who are bound to feel nervous in such a big match. We are rightly favourites and should win it on form too
Football wouldn't be football if the team that should win always did win. We are a better team than they, but so many things can happen. Determination makes a difference - though I expect both teams to be brimming with that. It can come down to such fine margins though. You could argue that we lost the league by a centimetre or two - if that ball at City had had a following wind and gone over the line we'd be champions tonight. Never take anything for granted.

yeah, how come we can't do a utd and say if we had started all season like that what would have happened
if you can't at least give your fans a sign off win and leave them with some positivity going ino the summer with their nearest neighbours having won a treble... an english club as europa winners and an engliah club as cl winners.... well you really are a jumped up little group of ****s. .
Werent portugal the host nation and lost to greece in the final (as in I'm not sure about the bolded part)
probably bobby, i was going off memory which is never a good thing sure there was a host nation where it was made sure they got far(dodgy games and decisions), but might not have been greece.
