Zabaleta was doing his best to keep you in it after the red too. I didn't think it was a red, but rules of the game etc etc.

Guess it depends on who the ref is !

In the play offs there were 2 incidents the same with different outcomes !

Live it was just in front and I said no. Just seen the replay and I say no. Just not enough too be sure of a straight red. Without being biased, I think we would win an appeal.

I really hope so.. But is it not to with last player rather than the strength of any foul?

Why do I get the funny (victim) feeling that the authorities won’t want to give any help to a team trying to usurp the authority of the moneyed boys?

From what I heard as I lost my stream towards the end of the game, many fans left the Vic before the game had finished. That seems a shame as there would be the opportunity to say thank you to the players for what has been a very good season. We have seen some great skill, some lovely flowing football at times, and a real effort put in by the team. So many times we were almost good enough to create an upset with the "big six", but just failed at the last moment. A good reason to have stayed and said that we had enjoyed the teams effort, but maybe the bond between team and fans is not quite as strong as we would wish.

Seen the reply of the sending off. It was soft but I would be shocked if it was recinded. Hand definitly on the shoulder. :(

Good. I didn't see, so was going by what Jon Marks and Derek Payne told me.

Well people always leave early - even when we are winning or its close!

I think a majority stayed in the main home stands.

I would be thoroughly disgusted if it wasn't. Shocking decision. To give the spammer the benefit of the doubt he slipped.

There were a fair few in the family stand but (rightly) the players all congregate in front of the Rookery and therefore you feel a bit of a spare part when you are down the other end.

Shame about the game, biggest shame for me is the red for Jose, history repeating itself????
Aguero will probably head the ball out of Gomes' hands in the final

We won't get the decision overturned

...sorry feel a bit down right now, bit of a whimpering end to our league season

Its a shame he was sent off trying to put a tackle in as none of them did for the first or second goal

As I said earlier we let Mark Noble (a solid midfield for his local club but hardly an attacking world beater) walk through our defence with ease which doesn't bode well for next week.

I think Antonito fell over 3 times and still managed to get a shot in!

If we look at ourselves in the mirror, we know it has been a ****ty end to a decent season, and that is what sours it.

There is one more game to put that right. It has to be put right in the last game.

It was never a red, your player is a cheating **** who has ruined our Greek's chance of a final. He is our free kick and corner taker, and is less ****e at it than the rest, he was my only hope of some sort of upset. Anderson can **** himself, cheater

not to you dan that is to Earnie

  17. It was painful to watch. He was completely devastated and, to their credit, even a couple of West Ham players were arguing his case with the referee. I agree about his importance - we really need him.
I just hope none of the executives have a son in the hospitality business who might fancy a game <whistle>

Quick poll. Has a previously excellent Kabasele this year become:

    A) absolutely terrible
    B) completely useless

I’m torn myself and yes I’ve toned down the two options just to be polite. Sigh. Someone dust off Britos.

I don't see what goes on on the training ground, but maybe he has just had not enough games.

Just loses concentration I think and yes probably hasn't been helped by injuries and lack of form.
