It always amuses me a bit when keepers get credited with a wonder save when they fling themselves in some random pose and it belts them in the face. Like saying a shot was a great header if it smacked someone in the head while they were tying their laces and went in.

Watching Donny v Charlton and Charlton are very, very impressive.

Absolutely the team we have to beat, or Pompey.

They look in prime form, effortless.

Taylor looked dangerous against us and seems to have kept it up, he's better than anything we've got for all that we've spent more.

They just have that smoothness of a team that’s clicking.

Not unbeatable mind, but look very good.

Aye they look good but I suppose, although it feels like an age ago, that if we can beat them with a patched up team including a 16 year old in CM we can do it again.

How have they managed to get him if their club is in the plight their fans who've been on here reckon it is?

I dunno but player for player we don't seem to have much edge on them if any, don't know if they've promoted from within or just done better business than us. Their CM Bielik is on loan form Arsenal and has played most of the season, compare that to us who got Sterling from Spurs who has done nowt.

Its a good old club and they have a manager who is a bit special imo. Looking back we made a very good start to the season, steadied the ship, wobbled and then sank with all hands. It was a cold wind that blew in when the transfer window.opened, but we live in hope. Nil Desperandum.

We were let down in the window, the opportunity was there to go straight back up.

Who could have foretold that League One's best scorer for the past few seasons Will Grigg would come to us and not do the business.
the others I'd agree cos when they have had the chance they have come up short.
In our desperation to replace Maja we took on an injured player and it's backfired.

I said at the time that I thought that Sterling would turn out to be the better signing. I was wrong about that but I had a gut feeling that Grigg wasn't going to be a great acquisition. Let's hope he comes good next season.

I reckon Will Grigg is seeing the season out before going under the knife to sort out whatever is wrong with his ankle. I'm sure we'll see a different player next season

It's got to be the injury hasn't it, he doesn't seem the type to not bother trying but he's been like a ghost. Probably shouldn't have signed him if there was a strong possibility that he'd be playing with an injury or not playing at all but maybe it was him or nobody. We certainly seemed to be getting knocked back a lot.
