That’s because he has the attention span of a stunned slug.

  4. Skiddy never learns.

Sometimes, I will take him off IGNORE, usually when it becomes obvious that he's being rag dolled by the lads - so that I can join in the fun - and I get to see how he waits upon my every comment. It's the reason I put the Bell on IGNORE, in the first place.

Life on this board is so much better without his stupidity.

As far as Liverpool and Spurs are concerned, you can see how methodically Klopp has gone about improving the first team. He's done it well and over time. Bit unusual that defence wasn't the first thing he tackled but then that comes down to him wanting to instil his football philosophy first. I'm assuming midfield and squad depth will be next. Either way he's taken the time to do it stage by stage, where you've seen progress at every stage and it's built upon a good foundation.

Spurs have improved but it's a bit all over the place imo, Poch seems to be juggling plates and I don't see there being an overall philosophy or approach. It's more a case of him being a very good coach who understands the strength of the players he has and gets them to perform. That may be down to a "make do and mend" approach through lack of funds but it's still scatter gun imo. I still think there are far too many teams in the prem that get the better of Spurs who shouldn't be, if they really want to get up to the next level.

Spurs remind me of a relegation side who are really up for it. They can battle and turn it on and beat anybody on their day. But week in and out consistency. Not at all.

I heard on the radio earlier that Spurs have lost 20 games this season. That's a really weird stat considering they're in a CL final.

Like I said, a relegation style team who can occasionally turn it on.

You do know that the FFP rules don't allow the owners to 'invest' in the team? The stadium solves that problem.

Which club is second only to Man City in points over the last 4 seasons? We are amazingly consistent.

You could break even though, instead of having the largest profit any football club in history because you didn't bother maintaining the assests essential to your business

We usually do. The last year was a bit of a one off. We are in the CL final. How have we managed that without maintaining our assets. Our competitors bought Jorginho and Fred. Would they have improved us?
