that is true. currently spurs are only team in top 6 who have not spent 300 or 400 or 500million on squad irrespective of where they got the cash(us sales, city oil, Chelsea oil, utd banks, arsenal from property and being mean) my view on spurs is a combination of good planning, good contract work and having players just not quite the big star like bale was so nobody has stolen them since modric and bale. lloris.. been there for years.
